Risers, laptop stands, under-desk trays, hubs, power strips and the small holders that stop a desk silting up. Most of it exists to solve one of two problems: a screen at the wrong height, or cables in the wrong place. Both are cheap to fix and both are worth fixing, and neither needs a subscription. The range also carries the repair tools we use ourselves — precision screwdriver sets, air dusters and screen cleaners.

A twelve-in-one hub should say which twelve. A monitor riser should say how much weight it takes and how wide the platform is. Those numbers come from the manufacturer and go on the page unedited, because a hub that lists a single display output will not drive two independent screens whatever adapter is added to it. Compatibility notes for keyboards and mice list the connection type rather than a vague claim of universal support.
